Wrestlemania Night 2 Predictions

Wrestlemania Night 2 Predictions

April 20, 2025 0 By Right Hook Ray

Last night was incredible! Night one of Wrestlemania ended in shocking fashion giving us some memorable moments, new champions, and impressive debuts. And tonight is Night 2 to close out Wrestlemania weekend, so here are my picks for tonight’s grand finale.

AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul

We get our obligatory Logan Paul for Wrestlemania, which should be an exciting match as the Maverick challenges the Phenomenal AJ Styles tonight. This match will undoubtedly be action-packed and have some viral moments, potentially where I see the Phenomenal One winning a potential show-stealer.

Winner: AJ Styles

Sin City Street Fight: Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre

Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre face off in a street fight that could have been a regular match, but I’m sure the match will be good. The lead-up has been fun with Priest and McIntyre fighting anywhere every chance they can Also, add what happened last year at Wrestlemania when Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated McIntyre, leading to a short celebration, feels right for them to fight tonight. I am torn between these two, but I am going with Damian Priest to walk out of Wrestlemania victorious, then out of the strip to celebrate.

Winner: Damian Priest

Randy Orton comes into tonight wanting a match, so he issued an open challenge to anyone brave enough to step up. Now, will that be? My guess is that it will be the winner of the Andre the Giant memorial, Carmelo Hayes, to step up and challenge the viper to become the new legend killer at the expense of Orton.

Women’s Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (Champions) vs. Lyra Valkyria &?

Liv and Raquel were supposed to defend the titles against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley. Still, during yesterday’s pre-show, Bayley was attacked and not cleared to compete, so Adam Pierce gave Valkyria 24 hours to find a substitute. The potential choices are slim, but I think it’s the right moment for Valkyria to team up with her idol, The Man, Becky Lynch, who makes a long-awaited return since last year’s Wrestlemania to help Lyra. But I think Liv and  Raquel will retain the titles, where maybe Lynch turns on Valkyria, finally, potentially getting this student vs. teacher feud going for the women’s IC title.

Winner: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez retain

Fatal 4-Way Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker (Champion) vs. Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Balor

The four-way for the Intercontinental title is my show-stealer, show-stopper, and highlight match of the weekend. Bron Breakker has been a fine champion, and the matches with Penta have been better than I expected. Throwing in the tension between Dom and Finn makes this more interesting.

As much as I want to go with Breakker executing that Steiner match to retain his title, it is time for Breakker to move on to the world heavyweight title scene. So, I am going with Dirty Dom to steal a win and a championship while taking the lead of Judgement Day and finally kicking Finn Balor out, hopefully leading to Balor getting a rejuvenated singles run for the world title.

Winner: Dominik Mysterio #AndNew

WWE Women’s World Championship Triple Threat: Iyo Sky (Champion) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair

The triple threat for the WWE women’s world championship could be another match of the night choice, as Iyo Sky defends her title against Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair. Rarely does the champion come in as the underdog, but that is the case here with Ripley and Belair being such big favorites. Again, there is no wrong choice here for who will be the champion. But I decided to pick Bianca Belair to win thanks to some unwanted or possibly wanted help from Naomi to secure the championship from Mami and Sky.

Winner: Bianca Belair #AndNew

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (Champion) vs. John Cena

Just a year ago, John Cena was in the ring when Cody Rhodes finally finished his story defeating Roman Reigns. Fast forward to now, where the living legend faces off with Rhodes after the biggest and shocking turn happened at Elimination Chamber when Cena joined forces with the Rock after winning the chamber. An evil John Cena we thought would never happen has, and it is still an adjustment, but has been entertaining seeing him and Rhodes duel it out on the mic.

Both men have really laid in some strong stuff to each other, particularly Rhodes Friday night, completely stripping Cena down in a way we haven’t seen since CM Punk, maybe. This match will hopefully live up to that Wrestlemania main event lure or equal night one’s main event, but  when it comes to picking a winner do you want chaos or not? I won’t put out the idea of the Final Boss and Travis Scott (huge eye roll) make an appearance but, I am going with Cody Rhodes to triumph and defeat Cena to retain.

Winner: Cody Rhodes retains
