Clash in Italy Predictions
May 31, 2026Clash in Italy is this afternoon; God I love weekend afternoon wrestling shows! This should be a fine card to watch, will it tell us anything as we go officially into the summer? Maybe nothing wild, so here are my predictions for today’s show.
Tribal Combat Match: Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu (World Heavyweight Championship)
Winner: Roman Reigns retains

As much as I want to go with the Samoan Werewolf to pull off the upset, Tribal Combat means no disqualifications, no count outs, falls count anywhere, and anyone can get involved basically no rules. Which means something or someone will inject themselves into this fight and cost Fatu the match, much to Reigns’ disgust.
Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther
Winner: Gunther

In the other world championship match I’m going to take the gamble with the Ring General making the most of this opportunity and defeating Cody Rhodes in what should be a home game for Gunther, being from Austria. Rhodes seems to be better chasing the championship, but the looming situation with CM Punk could come into play this afternoon for the American Nightmare.
WWE Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill
Winner: Rhea Ripley retains

Mami and the Storm face off again in what may be the least exciting match on the card compared to the others. Cargill hopefully puts on another solid performance and I’m sure her new group of baddies (B-Fab and Michin) will interfere, but it won’t be enough to stop Ripley from retaining the championship in a physical bout.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca
Winner: Sol Ruca

Becky Lynch faces Raw’s newest call-up from NXT, Sol Ruca, who went straight for The Man on her debut. Like Victor Wembanyama in basketball, Sol Ruca has that same vibe: new, young, but ready to be a major player right now. So, I’m going heart and vibes here, picking Sol Ruca to snatch the Women’s IC title from Becky Lynch in what should be a very good match.
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
Winner: Oba Femi

The Brock Lesnar retirement wasn’t real or didn’t last that long roughly six weeks as he returned to get his lick back on the Ruler. Femi has been dominating Monday nights, making his statement clear to everyone that he is inevitable. Lesnar returning hopefully means a real last retirement run going into the summer, ending at SummerSlam in Minneapolis. As much as I want to call this a no contest, I’ll pick the Ruler to win but be tested in a way he hasn’t experienced yet and still come out on top.
