Wrestlemania 41 Night 1 Predictions
April 19, 2025IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR! It’s Wrestlemania weekend, and the NBA playoffs start, which should give us exciting entertainment all weekend long. You can check out the first-round playoff predictions over on attacktheglass.raylentless.com as well as my predictions for NXT Stand and Deliver, but it is time to get into the matches on night one of Wrestlemania, which will be awesome.
Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
Jade and Naomi will finally settle things in the ring tonight. Naomi has been on a tear since she revealed that she attacked Cargill months ago. But Jade has been a force, getting her hands on Naomi every chance she gets. This match will be another piece of Black excellence during Wrestlemania weekend. I’m picking Jade Cargill to win, but this situation is going to get more interesting.
Winner: Jade Cargill

World Tag Team Championship: War Raiders (Champions) vs. The New Day
The world tag team championships on Raw will be on the line tonight, as the War Raiders (It’s so nice to say that again) take on the New Day. This match will be solid, where I am picking the War Raiders to retain the titles, thanks to a little bit of help from a big source in Big E making an appearance in the match to cost his former bros the belts.
Winner: War Raiders retain

Rey Fenix vs. El Grande Americano
With Rey Mysterio announcing he is medically cleared to compete, newly signed Rey Fenix will step in to face El Grande Americano, and this match could steal the night. What an awesome month for Fenix, who has had more good looks in WWE in a short time compared to his time in AEW, honestly. But I am going with Chad Gab, I mean El Grande Americano, to steal a victory here.
Winner: El Grande Americano

WWE United States Championship: LA Knight (Champion) vs. Jacob Fatu
LA Knight comes into Vegas as the United States champion. Still, he is not leaving as champion as he takes on the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu, who makes his first Wrestlemania appearance that is long overdue. The wait has been long enough, and it is time for Fatu to get some championship gold, so I am rolling with Fatu to beat Knight from post to post and coast to coast!
Winner: Jacob Fatu #andnew #yadadamean

WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (Champion) vs. Charlotte Flair
We are now on to one of the more polarizing and maybe unpopular matches of the weekend for some fans, as Charlotte Flair takes on Tiffany Stratton for the WWE women’s championship. Once again, if everything were set up a bit differently, this would feel a lot bigger because this is a “dream match” of sorts, but most fans do not like Flair, and it’s bled over into Stratton’s reign a little bit. Hopefully, the match will make up for many things, building up for it, and it will hopefully be Tiffy time, for I’m picking Stratton to defeat the queen, and the next generation wins.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton retains #AndStill #TiffyTime

World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther (Champion) vs. Jey Uso
The Ring General enters Wrestlemania as World Heavyweight champion against the overwhelming fan favorite and Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso. Things started a little glib but certainly picked up in the last month or so between these two, so much so that there seems to be a locked-in/all-business side of main event Jey.

Gunther is impeccable regardless of whether he has the gold or not, but tonight is the night Jey Uso validates the nickname of Main Event Jey, and YEETMANIA officially starts tonight when Uso becomes the new world heavyweight champion… YEET!
Winner: Jey Uso #AndNew #YEET

Triple Threat Main Event: Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk
Last but not least, the main event for night one of WrestleMania is probably one of the biggest star-powered triple threats in quite some time, as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk finally face off. Everything about this match has been incredible, and we finally get CM Punk in the main event of Wrestlemania, but the big question or questions are which favor will the wise man, Paul Heyman, follow through on, and who does he leave Wrestlemania with?

My heart wants to believe it will be him and Punk walking in and out of Wrestlemania together. However, I think Heyman still answer to a particular final boss who wants “his” champions and Seth Rollins likes to shocking moments happened on Roman’s dime in Wrestlemania so while I am picking CM Punk to win the match I think tonight we see Paul Heyman leave with his newest client Seth Rollins who will have lost the match but won having some new power behind him like he did about a decade ago.
Winner: CM Punk
