2025 NXT Stand & Deliver Predictions

2025 NXT Stand & Deliver Predictions

April 19, 2025 0 By Right Hook Ray

Wrestlemania weekend starts this afternoon with NXT Stand and Deliver, which should be a good show, and here are my predictions for all the matches on NXT’s big show.

6-Man Tag Match: The D’Angelo Family vs. Darkstate

This six-man tag will make the fans there happy, but it will be a nothing burger for me. Sadly, Darkstate probably won’t escape the RETRIBUTION comps, and it is time to bring this whole D’Angelo family thing to a conclusion. So, I will take Darkstate to win their first big tag match.

Winner: Darkstate

NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match: Thea Hail vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Izzi Dame vs. Zaria vs. Sol Ruca vs. Lola Vice

There will be a multi-person ladder match somewhere this weekend and it is here for the women’s North American championship. This of course is going to be a toss up because there are not a lot of bad options for who wins this match, clearly there is some momentum behind Thea Hail then there’s the star power between Zaria and Sol Ruca, but I am going with Lola Vice to steal a victory and get some championship gold finally after coming close a few times before.

Winner: Lola Vice #Andnew

NXT Tag Team Championship: Nathan Frazer & Axiom (Champions)  vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

Fraxiom will defend their tag titles against the strangely popular team of Hank and Tank. I am in the minority when it comes to the new team, but I am going with the upset by picking Walker and Ledger to become the new tag team champions. Frazer and Axiom can move on to Raw or SmackDown.

Winner: Hank Walker & Tank Ledger #andnew

NXT Men’s North American Championship: Ricky Saints (Champion) vs. Ethan Page

Ricky Saints will have his first big show match defending his newly won North American title against All Ego Ethan Page. This match could be a show stealer and the match to truly elevate the men’s mid-card scene. There is no way Starks (Saints, sorry, still adjusting) loses, and he retains the championship with a big win this afternoon.

Winner: Ricky Saints retains

NXT Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way: Stephanie Vaquer (Champion) vs. Giulia vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker

The NXT women’s championship match may be the afternoon match, but it’s just another reminder that this is the best female division in wrestling. Vaquer takes on three serious threats with Grace, Parker, and Giulia, where any of these fantastic ladies can be seen standing tall with the championship. But I am going, Stephanie Vaquer, to leave Vegas still the NXT women’s champion,  but this could set an exciting summer for this competitive division with some awesome matches.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer retains.

NXT Championship Triple Threat Match: Oba Femi (Champion) vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’Von Evans

Last is the main event that will again showcase some black excellence in pro wrestling, which is always lovely. Oba Femi defends his title against Trick Williams and the rising Je’Von Evans, who seems to be the crowd favorite for this match. This is another tough pick between Evans and Femi which is no disrespect to Trick who I would guess is heading to the main roster soon, I can see an ending with Evans being anointed as the new champion but I am going with the ruler of NXT to come out victorious and retain his championship where maybe a surprise challenger could make their presence felt at the end of the show.

Winner: Oba Femi retains.
