Right Hook Weekly Review (7/22 to 7/26/2024)
July 29, 2024*Did not do a review for Friday Night Smackdown because it was pretty bland, so I decided to skip it but here is the rest of my weekly review.*
Monday Night Raw (7/22/24)
CM Punk finally being cleared to faced Drew McIntyre at Summerslam will be awesome, Rollins as the guest referee is an interesting curveball to the match and feud.

Gunther and Priest brawling was good clearly Priest, Gunther’s promos have been great. The Rhea/Dom/Liv segment was fun certainly keeping the over-the-top feel going, Dom rejecting Liv to win Rhea back probably means he will cost Mami the match at Summerslam.

Bo Dallas and Wyatt Sicks finally getting physical was good, the crowd exploding when Dallas did sister Abigail was a moment for him that was long overdue.

Sami and Jey reuniting for the main event tag was cool, some of the call backs were fun but Breakker destroying Sami to end the show setting up the match was awesome, Breakker looks like a monster every week.

NXT (7/23/24)
Briggs and Jensen in no DQ match was ok clearly, they have high hopes and plans for Jensen but I’m just not seeing it but on the other hand there’s a little something there with Briggs.
Trick Williams vs. Cedric Alexander was good, nice to see Alexander on TV back in the ring. Fun match overall but the post-match with Pete Dunne was exciting because Dunne in big spot will always be good and hopefully go all in on bringing back the Bruiserweight.

The 6-man tag was pretty modern (fast action, high flying, etc.) Trey Miguel and Je’Von Evans were the absolute stars here, Axiom is not that far behind them. Hopefully the Rascalz get a tag title shot at great American bash coming up.

AEW Dynamite (7/24/24)
MJF revealing the new American championship replacing the international title was great, the match at All In will absolutely deliver, heel MJF has been sorely missed.

The Britt Baker post-match stuff was meh at best. Mone says she will not defend the TBS title at All In and reveals her new bodyguard who was Kamille Brickhouse. Kamille is such a potential star and having her debut in AEW does not sit well especially being just Mercedes muscle to make this somehow interesting, but we will see.

The blood & guts match was just another chaotic match with the Elite, which is obviously the only kind of match they can have sadly. Swerve and Hangman are going to have a rubber match probably at All Out which will be fine, the end with Darby Allin forcing the Elite to surrender after dowsing Jack Perry with gasoline threating to set him on fire was what it was and sets up a title match between them probably at Wembley but so far like myself and others have expected this Jack Perry relaunch has done anything to move the needle in the right direction.

Also, there probably will not be a weekly review next week just want to get into the excitement for going to my first live PPV ever next Saturday at Summerslam. There will be a prediction piece probably early on next week so stay tuned, thank you for the support and keep commenting as well as sharing.
