King & Queen of the Ring Predictions

King & Queen of the Ring Predictions

May 25, 2024 0 By Right Hook Ray

This holiday weekend is supposed to give us some entertaining wrestling with WWE’s King & Queen of the Ring today and AEW’s Double or Nothing tomorrow night, hopefully we see some good matches so here are my brief predictions for this afternoon WWE even in Saudi Arabia.

King of the Ring Final

Gunther vs. Randy Orton

Winner: Gunther

This match could be the best match of the show, certainly will not disappoint but Gunther comes out victorious as the ring general becomes king of the ring.

Queen of the Ring Final

Lyra Valkyria vs. Nia Jax

Winner: Nia Jax

This should be a quick match, clearly there is some belief in Valkyria but Jax winning Queen of the Ring would be more useful in setting up the next opponent for Bayley on Smackdown.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (Champions) vs. Candice LaRae & Indi Hartwell

Winner: Bianca & Jade wins, retaining the titles.

Not much to say here but the super team of Belair and Cargill should easily defend their titles today.

Intercontinental Championship

Sami Zayn (Champion) vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed

Winner: Chad Gable #NewChamp

I decided to go against my gut and took the risk by picking Gable to finally beat Zayn to become IC champion. Whether it is some help from Otis and company or the Creeds, Gable finds a way to leave champion.

Women’s World Championship

Becky Lynch (Champion) vs. Liv Morgan

Winner: Becky Lynch retains.

Even with the ridiculous talk of Becky Lynch leaving WWE (Which is not happening) the Liv Morgan Revenge tour/experience is not enough yet to make her champion to line up a match with Rhea Ripley down the road. Lynch retains and someone else emerges as a challenger on Monday night.

WWE Undisputed Championship

Cody Rhodes (Champion) vs. Logan Paul

Winner: Cody Rhodes retains.

The main event could be the match of the show, show stealer, or banger of the weekend, Rhodes and Paul may be good opponents for each other making this match pretty exciting, but Rhodes is not losing the title and continues his reign as champion into the summertime.
