What The WWE Should Do?

Another set of roster cuts just happened this week in the WWE, which leaves the idea of a sell is looking. But a timeless question comes up again, what can WWE do to be better or improve their product? Here are a couple of possible ideas that can fix the WWE’s current low point before it’s too late.

Monday Night Raw back to 2 Hours: We know it’s all about content these days and WWE was slightly ahead of the curve with the WWE Network and the various amounts of content but their flagship shows Monday Night Raw being extended to 3 hours back in 2012 has not been the best.

Monday Night Raw since that change has been quite the chore to get through, although they are paid nicely for that 3rd hour the product has suffered and one thing you can change is going back to 2 hours could make the product on Monday better.

Less Titles: As crazy as it sounds the WWE has too many titles! Just too many to clarify and too many to dilute the importance of a championship. With 3 major shows now in Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown and NXT now means certain titles can be represent on multiple shows (One World championship, Tag Team championship, and Women’s championship on Raw and Smackdown).

So, the idea of less titles could make the titles the have mean something again as far as importance of that particular championship and just another title.

Let Talent be Themselves:  This next one is simple one, LET TALENT BE THEMSELVES! Instead of feeding these talented athletes a bunch of scripted stuff with uncomfortable verbiage let a guy or girl be themselves and showcase that. That’s one of WWE’s biggest problems that will come back to bite them if they don’t correct it soon.

Get Back to Professional Wrestling: As the world leader in “Sports Entertainment” the WWE can set trends that other places like AEW, IMPACT, etc will copycat, so why not bring back a little professional wrestling?

The WWE needs some Professional Wrestling in their programming to bring back the causal fans and former fans who have stopped watching. Less Hollywood and more days of the Territory, less cinematics and more grit would do wonders for the WWE especially when looking for a buyer of their product who wants a sports-based presentation.

Now there can be a lot more subjects to put on this list but if WWE were start with one of these ideas and grow off that would make WWE more respectable amongst wrestling fans who desperately wanting a good PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING product again.
