AEW’s Double or Nothing Predictions
May 29, 2021Tomorrow night is AEW’s Double or Nothing PPV and here are my prediction and takes of what will happen at the 3rd Double or Nothing.
Casino Battle Royale: We start with AEW’s staple the Casino Battle Royale where the winner is promised a future title shot at the AEW champion. Hopefully there is a mystery entry who I hope is Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) who I would hope wins it but I will go with Christian Cage as the winner.
Brian Cage vs. Adam “Hangman” Page: This match has potential to be something but just hasn’t lived up to expectation. This needs to be a pivotal win for Page and I will pick the Hangman for the victory.
Sting & Darby Allin vs. Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page: This tag match will be Sting’s in-ring debut which would be exciting but like his AEW stint so far it will be underwhelming. Page and Sky make a respectable heel team but I will go with Sting and Darby Allin to come out victorious.
Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo: Cody Rhodes is ready to defend America against the evil former British Olympic medal boxer Ogogo, this match could be a good starting point for Ogogo but expect Rhodes to come out victorious.
AEW Women’s champion Hikaru Shida vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. : This will be the Culmination of the rise of Britt Baker, short and sweet Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. wins and finally becomes AEW Women’s champion.
TNT Champion Miro vs. Lance Archer: This will be a potential show stealing match, as these 2 big monsters show down. Miro recently defeated Darby Allin for the TNT title now his opponent Lance Archer awaits. This match will not disappoint nut Miro will win the match and retain his title.
AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston: The Young Bucks defend their tag titles against a tough Moxley/Kingston duo who can upset them. As much as I want to pick Moxley & Kingston but The Bucks by hook or by crook will come out victorious and retain their tag titles.
The Pinnacle vs. The Inner Circle(Stadium Stampede): The second Stadium Stampede match takes place here SMH as the Inner Circle look for revenge against the Pinnacle after losing to them in a Blood & Guts match. The stakes are “high” because if they lose the Inner Circle must disband, this clearly means the Inner Circle will win and remain together in this gimmick friendly match that hopefully will have some seriousness.
AEW Champion Kenny Omega vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy: We come to the main event where AEW champion Kenny Omega defends one of his world titles against Death Triangle’s leader PAC and AEW fan favorite Orange Cassidy. The simple fact of Orange Cassidy being in the main event for the AEW championship screams of Tony Khan fandom and that PAC deserves a one on one opportunity (#PACDeservesBetter) this will not change a thing as Omega will come out victorious and retain his AEW championship but I expect a surprise visit from IMPACT Wrestling’s Moose to be the next challenger for Omega and his titles.
