2024 Crown Jewel Predictions
October 31, 2024WWE’s Crown Jewel is this weekend, and hopefully, we will get some stuff set up more for Survivor Series: War Games at the end of the month. So, here are my predictions for the event on Saturday afternoon.
Men’s Crown Jewel Championship (Champion vs. Champion): Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther
Winner: Gunther
One of the big matches for these new Crown Jewel championships is the World Heavyweight champion Gunther meets WWE Undisputed champion Cody Rhodes. Rhodes comes in with a bigger problem with Kevin Owens, which I think will be a deciding factor in this match where the Ring General comes out victorious.

Women’s Crown Jewel Championship (Champion vs. Champion): Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan
Winner: Liv Morgan
The other Crown Jewel championship is between WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and World Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. While the obvious size advantage is in Jax’s favor, I will say that Morgan, with help from Raquel Rodriguez, will steal a win here but won’t leave with two titles. Tiffany Stratton finally cashes in her money in the bank briefcase on Morgan, not Jax becoming the new women’s world champion and face of the women’s division on Monday Nights.

United States Championship: LA Knight vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
Winner: LA Knight
The matches involving US champ LA Knight against Andrade or Carmelo Hayes have been quite positive for Friday night’s Smackdown. While Knight’s title reign has been fine, I don’t see an upset happening Saturday, but maybe it will happen sometime before the year is done so Knight retains his championship.

Women’s Tag Team Championship 4-Way Match: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson vs. Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane)
Winner: Chelsea Green and Piper Niven
The women’s tag team championship is on the line in this four-way match. Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are absolute superstars and have done their best to elevate these titles. But an upset is needed here to bolster these titles and the developing division, which is why I am going with the entertaining team (not that entertaining to me) of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven to win and become the new tag team champions.

Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed (Unsanctioned Match)
Winner: Bronson Reed
Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed will finally face off after weeks of wild brawls on Raw. I do not know how healthy Seth Rollins is, but I am going with Bronson Reed to win and have an impressive match in his first big PPV match.

Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
Winner: Kevin Owens
Another hot match is Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton, which was finally granted last week despite Triple H’s effort to protect Orton. Owens being on this rampage can only mean bad things ahead, and he will leave Saudi Arabia victorious as he gets closer to Rhodes and his championship.

6-Man Tag Match: Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa (G.O.D.)
Winner: Roman Reigns & The UsosNow, to what I assume will be the main event, the bloodline saga continues in a six-man tag match on Saturday. Solo Sikoa and his bloodline (Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) face Roman Reigns and the reunited Usos to hopefully stop Sikoa’s out-of-control reign. Hopefully, this match will set up the Bloodline Civil War match at War Games at Survivor Series, giving us what we are waiting for. Will the Final Boss appear on Saturday? Where does Sami Zayn stand in all of this? Maybe we will get some answers from this match, but Roman and the Usos will win on Saturday.
