Black Female Promise

With it being Black History Month why not focus on some Black promise occurring in the sport of wrestling, two phenomenal women in WWE’s Bianca Belair and AEW’s Jade Cargill. Although both ladies are on two different trajectories, they both are representing a new fanbase dying to have a face to look up to in either woman.

We will begin with the unknown in Jade Cargill who has not had a single match, but her confidence and potential has the AEW fans and company waiting in the anticipation for her debut as the former track athlete and fitness model prepares for that moment that is coming soon to excite us with her athleticism and charisma in the ring hoping to be called elite.

Meanwhile WWE’s Bianca Belair has set the world ablaze especially after winning this past Sundays Royal Rumble in her 2nd year. Belair is simply a phenomenon that is inspiring women and girls that they can be strong, powerful, athletic, beautiful, and black so consider Belair a modern-day Florence Griffith Joyner (Flo Jo for short) for the fans to get behind especially for her title match opportunity at Wrestlemania.

Regardless of who of you watch or root for between these two ladies, female black excellence and its future is quite secure in professional wrestling if they are at the head of the future class leading the charge and blazing the trail for future young wrestlers to follow.
