2022 Survivor Series Predictions

2022 Survivor Series Predictions

November 26, 2022 0 By Right Hook Ray

Tonight, is one of the big 4 shows in WWE with Survivor Series, but this year it’s Survivor Series: Wargames! That’s right another new wrinkle in the Triple H era is that the old NWA/WCW concept of War Games will be a part of the Thanksgiving classic. So, with that here are my predictions for the show.

Men’s War Games Match: As much as I want to pick the Bloodline (Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn) I am going against my gut and going to say that the Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Butch, Ridge Holland), Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens win this War Games match to start putting a dent in the Bloodline’s armor, start the descent with Sami Zayn and give us a potentially fresh opponent for Roman Reigns’ championships. *Match of the Year candidate*

Women’s War Games Match: This match needs to be a quality win for Damage CTRL, so I am picking Team Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY, Dakota Kai), Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley beat the team of Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Mia Yim, and the surprise fifth person Becky Lynch in the women’s War Games co-main event.

Smackdown Women’s Championship: This is going to be short and sweet here with Ronda Rousey retaining her championship beating Shotzi Blackheart in what should be a quick encounter.

United States Championship: Seth Rollins defends his US championship against Bobby Lashley and newly focused Austin Theory. This match can easily be a pick ‘em situation but I will go with Seth Rollins wins and retains his US championship.

AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor: What I thought would have been the traditional Survivor Series match turned into a potentially great singles match between Finn Balor of the judgement day and AJ Styles of the OC. This match will not disappoint but might steal the show honestly but going to with Finn Balor continues his momentum and beats Styles continuing the rivalry of former Bullet Club leaders a little longer.

And as far as the press conference after the show is concerned expect some possible major announcement and/or return of someone since they are beginning to do these a little more. I expect a return possibly Charlotte Flair or Sasha Banks (Since it’s in Boston tonight) as far as possible returns, the announcement however I don’t know maybe some kind of special show in December since nothing is currently slated or like the NFL does a release of next year’s schedule of PLEs (Premium Live Events) would be awesome as well.
