2025 Night of Champions Predictions

2025 Night of Champions Predictions

June 28, 2025 0 By Right Hook Ray

Today the WWE will have Night of Champions from Saudi Arabia. Despite some unpredictable conflict in the world, we shall see who wins the king and queen of the ring, could CM Punk pull an upset defeating John Cena and end his championship reign? A lot of potential things that can happen today will shape up our road to Summerslam in August, so here are my predictions for the big event today.

Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross has a PLE/PPV match for the first time in quite a while! About damn time, but he faces beloved Sami Zayn who will be the overwhelming favorite. But I will go with the unlikely upset that Karrion Kross defeats Sami Zayn and begins some potentially serious traction for Kross.

Winner: Karrion Kross

Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez: Street Fight

Not much to cover here, Rhea and Raquel is always a decent fight, but I will take Mami to win this here, where we may see a split between Liv and Raquel where Roxanne Perez factors in all of this.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

United States Championship Match: Jacob Fatu (Champion) vs. Solo Sikoa

We finally get the showdown between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, with the US title on the line but it is happening in Saudi Arabia. I am sure Solo has trick up his sleeve to steal the match and title from Fatu whether that is the form of JC Mateo or a returning Tama Tonga will be neutralized with Jimmy Uso and the Samoan Werewolf retains the US title.

Winner: Jacob Fatu retains #YADDDAMEANNN

Queen of the Ring Final: Asuka vs. Jade Cargill

This may be the show stopper match of the show, a returning Asuka has a chance to challenge for a title at Summerslam, but Jade Cargill is in her way. This one is tough because I love both ladies, but I am going to go with Asuka to win this, thanks to some interference from Naomi or dare I say Bianca Belair? Regardless Jade loses an opportunity for a title shot.

Winner: Asuka

King of the Ring Final: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

The men’s king of the ring final would normally be the main event on any other show especially since this is first time Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton have faced off in over ten years. Clearly the winner of this match will go after the undisputed WWE championship, but who will reach a breaking point after today? I am prepared for anything, but I would like Randy Orton to flip the switch one last time, so I am playing it safe by picking Cody Rhodes to win and become King of the Ring but at a price of Orton finally snapping.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (Champion) vs. CM Punk

Last but not least is the main event, which is a Wrestlemania level main event happening to day as John Cena’s farewell tour continues as he defends his title against CM Punk in what may be the last time. The lead up to this has had some high points and low points but hopefully this match will make up for that. Cena’s mission to ruin pro wrestling may end tonight because I will take the leap by picking CM Punk to pull the upset becoming the new WWE champion. That may be short lived as Rollins with his alliance cashes in and steal this great moment from Punk and become the new champion.

Winner: CM Punk wins; Rollins cashes in and becomes the new champion.
