Bash In Berlin Predictions
August 30, 2024WWE’s Bash in Berlin is tomorrow, which is the first big show in Germany in a while. It should be fun because PPVs/PLEs on Saturday afternoons are just ideal (laughs). Regardless, here are my predictions for tomorrow’s show, which may not have a lot of upsets but will have good matches.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (Champion) vs. Kevin Owens
Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE championship will be a crucial match for Rhodes’ title reign. Although Owens may hint at a turn, Rhodes will keep the title. However, Owens will show signs of frustration and jealousy to set up something for Bad Blood.

Winner: Cody Rhodes retains
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (Champion) vs. Randy Orton
The match for the world heavyweight title should be the main event as Gunther returns to his home country defending his championship against Randy Orton, which is going to be excellent. Obviously, it would be cool for Orton to pull out the upset, but the ring general leaves victorious with some help potentially from Ludwig Kaiser.

Winner: Gunther retains
Strap Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will continue this blood feud tomorrow afternoon in a good old-fashioned strap match. I love it when they bring old-school stipulation matches back and do them right, which I believe will happen with these two. McIntyre got the win at SummerSlam to start this month, and I think Punk will get the win to end this month while setting up a massive rubber match at Bad Blood, which would be so fitting.

Winner: CM Punk
Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley (The Terror Twins) vs. Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan (The Judgement Day)
Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will finally get their chance to get Dominik and Liv in a mixed tag match tomorrow that will steal the show. The Terror Twins (Priest and Ripley) are the heavy favorites. Still, this new Judgement Day needs a win to validate why they kicked Priest and Ripley out of the group, why Dominik picked Liv over Rhea, and hopefully starts the big feud between Damian Priest and Finn Balor finally, so I’m calling for the upset of the afternoon with Dom and Liv stealing a victory in Berlin.

Winner: Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) (Champions) vs. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair
Lastly, we have the rematch for the women’s tag team championships where Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn defend the titles again Jade and Bianca. This match will be fine and highlight all the ladies involved, but Belair and Cargill need to win back the titles to give those belts and that division some juice so it can be presented better or equally to men’s tag titles on Friday nights.

Winner: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill #AndNew
