NXT No Mercy 2024 Predictions

Well, I had things screwed up a bit, and tonight is NXT’s No Mercy, not next weekend, so here are my predictions for what is going to happen in Denver that may be predictable but should be a solid show regardless.

NXT Championship: “All Ego” Ethan Page (Champion) vs. Joe Hendry (Trick Williams as Guest Referee)

The main event of the evening is for the NXT championship, where Ethan Page faces Joe Hendry. This match can go either way: Page retains the title in some fashion, or the extremely popular Hendry pulls off the upset. Trick Williams as the guest referee will factor in some way, and I may regret this pick later on. Still, I will go with the trending Joe Hendry and give this hype a chance where he pulls the upset that hopefully sets up a big triple-threat match between these three on the upcoming CW debut show.

NXT Women’s Championship: Roxanne Perez (Champion) vs. Jaida Parker

Roxanne Perez continues her reign defending against all challengers tonight against the rising star Jaida Parker. As much as I would like to see Parker win the match, I am going with Roxanne to retain her title, but Japanese wrestling star Giulia will make her NXT debut to challenge Perez for the women’s title.

Winner: Roxanne Perez retains

NXT Men’s North American Championship: Oba Femi (Champion) vs. Tony D’Angelo

Oba Femi versus Tony D’Angelo for the men’s North American title, and as much as D’Angelo has looked like Femi’s toughest challenge, there is no way Oba Femi is losing this title and the next big thing in NXT retains.

Winner: Oba Femi retains

NXT Women’s North American Championship: Kelani Jordan (Champion) vs. Wendy Choo

I am not looking forward to this match because, again, this Wendy Choo gimmick is just awful. It does not belong on this show and I probably come off as if I’m attacking the wrestler, which I’m not. But this presentation ruins so much that I cannot see her becoming the new women’s North American champion. So, Kelani Jordan retains, and hopefully a more serious contender is lined up for the young champion.

NXT Tag Team Championship: Chase U (Ridge Holland & Andre Chase) (Champions) vs. Nathan Frazer & Axiom

The match for the NXT tag team titles could be a show-stealer, but this match does not do much to recharge this flat tag division. This is no disrespect to Chase U and Frazer/Axiom, but the newly crowned champions will retain. Hopefully, this match will be the thing that finally breaks up Nathan Frazer and Axiom.

Winner: Chase U retains

Wes Lee vs. Zachary Wentz

Wes Lee and Zach Wentz face-off, which will be the show-stealer in my view. Wes Lee’s recent turn has been interesting, and the splintering of the Rascalz is probably the best thing coming out of this NXT & TNA partnership. Wentz recently showed something on the mic, but Wes Lee is my pick to win. I hope this match will give us a potentially great match between Wes Lee and Trey Miguel sometime soon.

Winner: Wes Lee
