What a start to 2022
March 6, 2022A lot has happened to start 2022 in the wrestling world, some of it surprising and some of it disappointing but hopefully will be for the better. So here’s a couple topics that should have the attention of wrestling fans around the world.
Tony Khan buys ROH- As announced on this past AEW Dynamite owner Tony Khan has bought Ring of Honor which gives fans great optimism about the product. Hopefully Khan present the promotion like it always has been a serious wrestling promotion but with a better lighting and presentation along with giving this ever expanding roster another platform to be showcased.

Road to Wrestlemania: The road to Wrestlemania has started and not everything is clear yet. Obviously the title for title unification match with Lesnar and Reigns has been established as the main event of the 2 night affair but there is still 2 nights to fill card and arena wise.

Things are slowly coming into focus (McAfee vs. Theory, Edge vs. Styles, Becky vs. Bianca, Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey etc) but there’s still an element of surprise looming with the most stupendous Wrestlemania less than a month away.
Cody Rhodes: Finally we come to star who has single handely keep the wrestling world buzzing with what is his next move and that is Cody Rhodes. After his surprising departure from AEW every possible idea came to mind for us fans.
“Will he go back to WWE?” “Will he buy or have creative control of ROH” which we know he can’t buy now but creative control is still in the air, “Is this a work/storyline that will catch us all of guard?” Regardless of the result Cody has elevated his value and place on the card as a main event talent wherever he may land which is exciting to see what happens next with Rhodes.
