WWE Money in the Bank and NXT Heatwave Predictions
July 5, 2024A big weekend ahead for WWE with money in the bank on Saturday night and NXT Heatwave on Sunday night. A lot can happen with money in the bank that will certainly shape what is to come at Cleveland for Summerslam, but here are my predictions for both shows.
Money in the Bank Predictions
Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn (Champion) vs. Bron Breakker
This will be a country homecoming for the fighting Champion Zayn who has been solid in this reign, but I am all in about Bron Breakker and he will leave Toronto as the new Intercontinental champion.

Winner: Bronn Breakker #AndNew
6-Man Tag Team Match: Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton vs. Solo’s Bloodline
After Solo’s Bloodline took out the wiseman Paul Heyman who knows what is to come from this gang, but first they must take care of the trio of Rhodes, Owens, and Orton who may have a surprise twist where Orton attacks Rhodes to get a title shot but that is my wishful thinking.

The big question for this match is will Jacob Fatu because apart of the team? We have no idea but may find out tonight on Smackdown, but Solo’s Bloodline needs to win this match.
Winner: Solo’s Bloodline
Women’s Money in the Bank: Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Iyo Sky vs. Chelsea Green vs. Zoey Stark vs. Lyra Valkyria

This year’s women’s MITB match may come down to three women: Stratton, Naomi, and Green but I am going this weekend is prime to Tiffy time! So, my choice is Tiffany Stratton who wins the briefcase.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton #Tiffytime
Men’s Money in the Bank: Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre vs. La Knight vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade vs. Chad Gable

Now to the most difficult match to call on the show in my view the men’s MITB match where it can go in so many ways! Is it LA Knight’s time? Does Chad Gable become master in the bank despite his recent misfortunes? Will Jey Uso make it money in the YEET-case, or does Drew McIntyre fulfill his destiny?
At first, I was leaning towards McIntyre for the chaos at the end of the night and hopefully we would get a surprise from CM Punk, but I decided to go the safe or easy route and say that word for the weekend will be Yeet! And I am picking main event Jey Uso wins but may not be done for the night.

Winner: Jey Uso #YEET
World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest (Champion) vs. Seth Rollins *If Rollins wins then Priest is out of the Judgement Day, but if Priest wins Rollins cannot challenge for title as long as Priest is champion*
Now for the main event that is also interesting and can end in various directions, Rollins returned to regain the title he did not lose faces El Campeon Priest who may have a lot on his plate not only being champion but the collapse or divide that is happening in Judgement Day since he became champion.

Does Finn Balor come out to help Priest but ends costing Priest the title and forcing him out the group? Does Liv Morgan and/or Dominik Mysterio screw up? All that considered Rollins will have the match in his hands until a returning Tribal Chief Roman Reigns attacks Rollins for payback from WrestleMania 40 that will help Priest retain the title only for…

JEY USO runs down to execute a same night cash-in on Priest who will see Balor and Judgement Day turn on him, so Uso gets the jump on him and becomes the world heavyweight champion and finally Main Event Jey Uso ending the show with Uso amongst the fans as champion.

Winner: Priest retain/Uso cashes in and wins #AndNew
NXT Heatwave
NXT Tag Team Championship: Axiom & Nathan Frazer (Champions) vs. CHASE U (Duke Hudson & Ridge Holland)

This tag match will be fine certainly should open the show to get the crowd up, Axiom and Frazer’s friction is something to watch but the dirty tactics of Hudson and Holland will be expose and cost Chase U another opportunity at becoming tag champions, so Axiom and Frazer retain but hopefully an surprise team is out there to challenge them along with make this team’s run and the division as a whole.
Winner: Axiom & Nathan Frazer retains
NXT Women’s North American Championship: Kelani Jordan (Champion) vs. Sol Ruca

This should be a good showcasing two of the promising future players in the Women’s division with Jordan and Ruca. This match is good for them getting more time, but Kelani Jordan just won this title and do not see her losing it right out the gate but hopefully sets up Jordan for similar title reign like Wes Lee with this new title.

Winner: Kelani Jordan retains
NXT Men’s North American Championship: Oba Femi (Champion) vs. Wes Lee

Speaking of Wes Lee his match is next where he tries to regain the North American title from the dominant force that is Oba Femi. Hopefully, this is the start of a series of matches between them that would not disappoint, for me this will be the best match on the card, but Wes Lee will give everything but will not be enough to beat Femi whose dominant run continues.

Winner: Oba Femi retains
NXT Women’s Championship: Roxanne Perez (Champion) vs. Lola Vice

Roxanne Perez continues her run against exceptional challengers Sunday against Lola Vice who has a ton of momentum going into the weekend. Perez is exceptional in the ring and has a heel, but I am going with the upset and say as a surprise for us Lola Vice catches Perez off guard to become the new NXT Women’s champion! But will Guila make her debut in NXT as the next challenger? We will see.

Winner: Lola Vice #AndNew
NXT Championship 4-Way Match: Trick Williams (Champion) vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Ethan Page vs. Shawn Spears

The main event sees champion Trick Williams face the odds in a four-way match where he does not have to be pinned to lose his title, while Trick is the face of NXT, I am finding it hard to see Williams leave the six as champion. As much as I do not want to go against Williams, I am going go on another limb by saying that All Ego Ethan Page steals the victory and title in his home country ushering in the All-Ego era for NXT.

Winner: Ethan Page #AndNew
