NXT Battleground Predictions

Tomorrow night is NXT Battleground inside the UFC apex which will be a unique look for sure but when it comes to trying new concepts NXT has been the guinea pig. But we may see some interesting situations develop from battleground and here are my predictions for the show.

NXT Women’s North American Championship 6-Pack Ladder Match:  Mia Yim (Michin) vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Lash Legend vs. Jaida Parker vs. Sol Ruca vs. Fallon Henley

This will be an ok multi-woman ladder match to crown the first women’s north American champion. Hopefully, there are some exciting moments from Parker, Ruca and Michin but I am going with Jaida Parker to be the first champion here and set up her run and continue to turn some heads (Guys know what I am saying LOL).

Winner: Jaida Parker

NXT Tag Team Championship: Nathan Frazer & Axiom (Champs) vs. The O.C. (Anderson & Gallows)

Again, this should be a solid tag match with the distinctive style of teams, as exciting as Frazer and Axiom are the Good Brothers winning the titles would be something for them besides being just the bald guys on Tuesdays and Fridays plus they need something to spark them up again.

Winner: The O.C. (New Champions)

NXT North American Championship:  Oba Femi (Champion) vs. Wes Lee vs. Joe Coffey

Oba Femi defends his championship in another triple threat match with the returning Lee and Coffey who could have a big upset in either of their returns, but Oba Femi is going to retain his title in a potential show stealer.

Winner: Oba Femi retains

NXT Underground Match: Lola Vice vs. Shayna Baszler

Keeping the underground matches is always fun and this match may steal the show. Vice is another one of the new NXT its girls who can show she is more than eye candy in this match against Baszler who is a legit bad ass. As much as I want to pick Baszler here, I am going with Vice to win this match and up her stock.

Winner: Lola Vice

NXT Women’s Championship: Roxanne Perez (champion) vs. Jordynne Grace (TNA Knockouts Champion)

Jordynne Grace makes another WWE appearance tomorrow night to challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s title where the result of this match may set the wrestling world upside down. I am extremely interested to see what this NXT/TNA collaboration is going to be, so I am going with one of the upset picks here and go with Jordynne Grace wins and becomes the new NXT Women’s champion.

Winner: Jordynne Grace (New Champion)

NXT Championship: Trick Williams (champion) vs. Ethan Page

The shocking appearance of All Ego Ethan Page was welcomed surprise and happy he is away from AEW where he can get a clean slate, putting him in the title picture challenging Trick Williams. Williams is the face of NXT, but his title reign will be filled with tough opponents some from TNA perhaps, but Page will come close to winning but Trick Williams leaves NXT battleground with his championship.

Winner: Trick Williams retains
