2024 Royal Rumble Predictions

2024 Royal Rumble Predictions

January 27, 2024 0 By Right Hook Ray

This weekend is the Royal Rumble, and this year is expected to be surprising because it can go so many ways with this incredible momentum WWE has in starting the road to Wrestlemania in Philadelphia, so here are my predictions for tomorrow night’s PLE.

Logan Paul (C) vs. Kevin Owens United States Championship

Logan Paul has his first title defense happens at the rumble against Kevin Owens, this match should be good and potentially a show stealer knowing both stars. But I cannot see Paul losing in his first title defense, so I am going with Logan Paul to win and keep the United States championship in some cheating fashion to defeat Owens and go on to Wrestlemania in April.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Fatal 4- Way: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles vs. LA Knight

Thanks to Smackdown general manager Nick Aldis who has not cowered to the Bloodline, Roman Reigns finds himself in a fatal four-way match to defend his championship against LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles that could mean the end of this historic reign for the Tribal Chief. However, I do not see that happening even if the title reign is slowly leaning to becoming stale, I’m predicting that Roman Reigns will have a good multi person Reigns style match and retain the title and see what unfolds in the men’s royal rumble when it comes to who he may face in Philadelphia.

Women’s Royal Rumble

Women’s Rumble Winner: Bayley

I am going with my gut and heart when it comes to my pick to win the women’s rumble Bayley, it’s time for her to add another impressive accolade to her resume by winning this year’s royal rumble. Winning the rumble can lead us to a match up against Rhea Ripley which would be impressive but hopefully will lead to Bayley challenging Iyo Sky in an attempt to take back or break away from Damage CTRL by becoming WWE Women’s champion.

Women’s Final Four

Bayley, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Shayna Baszler

Surprise Women’s Entrant: Jade Cargill

If you want to call this a safe pick, then I guess it is safe with hoping that the one of the surprise entrants in the women’s rumble is their free agent signing Jade Cargill. I can’t think of any other big stage or moment to debut Cargill then in the rumble where she can make a good impression and mix it up with future opponents.

As polarizing as Sasha Banks/Mercedes Mone is her potential return to the WWE would be a nice moment especially after this past year’s snakebitten excursion hopefully leads to her returning home to WWE in this large boom phase but I am going Cargill to finally make her in-ring debut for the WWE in tomorrow’s rumble.

Most Eliminations: Ivy Nile

This next one I am going on a limb that hopefully would be breakout moment for her, but I am going with Ivy Nile to have the most eliminations in the rumble match this year. That would do wonders in making Nile someone to look out for in the RAW women’s division going forward, yes Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, or Bianca Belair would be the more sensible picks but I’m going outside the box and saying that Nile will have the most eliminations.

NXT Entrant: Tiffany Stratton

If there is someone from NXT’s women division to make an appearance, I will go with it being Tiffany Stratton, Stratton they have plans for and the rumble is an opportunity to showcase her abilities but the red-blooded American male I am would not be upset if Nikkita Lyons is the entrant over Stratton sorry not sorry (laughs).

Marathon Women of the Rumble: Bianca Belair

She may not win this year’s rumble, but Bianca Belair is going to be the iron woman/marathon woman of the match being the one to be in the rumble the longest in a valiant effort that comes a little short sadly.

Men’s Royal Rumble

Men’s Rumble Winner: CM Punk

With this men’s royal rumble, I am ok with going chalk with my choice to win it by going with CM Punk to come out victorious and finally get his main event at WrestleMania. There are so many legit possibilities to win this year from Punk to Cody to Gunther to Drew to even Sami Zayn or Jey Uso, but I will play it smart and still back Punk to finish his story by winning the rumble.

Men’s Final Four

CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and Finn Balor

Men’s Surprise Entrant: Big E

This was extremely hard because I wanted to go the chaos route for the men’s surprise entrant by going with Kazuchika Okada or… MJF, then I  almost went with my inner child’s nostalgic choice and said we see the Hulkster in the rumble which I will say if this does happen I will have a new shirt (laughs) but I decided to go with truly surprising return and feel good moment like Edge in 2020 by picking Big E to return in the rumble as a complete surprise and hopefully give a cool New Day reunion in the process.

Most Eliminations: GUNTHER

He may actually win the rumble, he may the iron man/marathon man again in this match, but I am going with Gunther the ring general to have the most eliminations this year having another impressive outing in the rumble in back-to-back years.

NXT Entrant: Bron Breakker

For the potential men’s NXT entrant, it is time for Bron Breakker to make some noise. Yes, he is the Dusty tag team classic with Baron Corbin, but Breakker is main roster bound probably after WrestleMania so why not appear in the rumble eliminate some people and tease some future matchups with Breakker mixing it up with some main event stars.

Marathon Man of the Rumble: Jey Uso

This year’s marathon man in the men’s rumble is going to be Jey Uso. Uso may not win the thing, but he will have a breakout main event performance by being staying in the rumble the longest until shenanigans from the Bloodline specifically his brother Jimmy Uso has a hand in Jey’s elimination ruining his night.
