Worlds Collide & ALL OUT Predictions
September 4, 2022Today the crazy wrestling weekend continues with WWE’s Worlds Collide this afternoon then AEW’s All Out tonight so here are my predictions for both shows.
WWE Worlds Collide
NXT & NXT UK Tag Team Unification Championship: The battle between NXT and NXT UK will be great this afternoon and we will start with the unification match for the NXT & NXT UK tag titles between Creed Brothers (NXT Tag Champs), Brooks & Jensen (NXT UK Tag Champs), Pretty Deadly and Gallus in a 4-way elimination match. All four teams have history with these titles and can be solid choices to win but I will go with the Creed Brothers to be the unified champions and continue their rise as a top tag team.

NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship: Nikki A.S.H. & Doudrop appeared at NXT 2.0 to challenge the new champions Kayden Carter & Katana Chance. This match will be ok, but I will go Carter & Chance to retain their titles but expect more appearances from A.S.H. and Doudrop in the future.

NXT North American Championship: This match will be the match of the overall weekend! The A Champion Carmelo Hayes takes on Ricochet in what could be considered a dream match. Expect high flying and incredible athleticism in this match but the A-Champ Carmelo Hayes will come out victorious and retain his North American title in what should be a 5-star banger.

NXT & NXT UK Women’s Championship: The NXT & NXT UK Women’s titles will be unified in this match with Mandy Rose (NXT Women’s Champion), Meiko Satomura (NXT UK Women’s Champion) and Blair Davenport. This match should be good considering who is involved but I am going to go with the upset and picking Blair Davenport to win and become the unified NXT Women’s champion. Which will be the good move so Mandy and Meiko can move to main roster afterwards.

NXT & NXT UK Championship: The main event is going to be explosive as NXT Champion Bron Breakker (Steiner) vs. NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate to unify the titles to be the undisputed NXT champion. This is tough call because it can go either way, but I am going to go with the Big Strong Boy Tyler Bate to upset Breakker and unify the titles which leads to a potential much awaited call up for Breakker.

Overall, I expect this show to be absolutely good and set the bar high for what will end this exciting weekend with AEW All Out closing out the night and here are my predictions and what I expect to happen at AEW’s grandest show of the year.
AEW All Out (Preshow/Kickoff Card)
Ruby Soho & Ortiz def. Sammy Guervara & Tay Melo in the mixed tag match
Hook def. Angelo Parker retains the FTW title in 30 seconds or so
Eddie Kingston def. Tomohiro Ishii in a big guy slapping meat sort of match (Their GUNTHER vs Sheamus match)
PAC def. Kip Sabian to retain the new and hardly seen AEW All Atlantic championship
AEW All Out (Main Card)
House of Black vs. Miro, Sting & Darby Allin: This match has had some story telling as Miro, Sting and Darby Allin all have history with the House of Black which has been a bit lackluster since it is expanded. With all the buzz recently about Malkai Black wanting his release becoming known this weekend could play into this but doubtful so I am going with Miro, Sting & Darby to win this match and give some momentum to Miro since his return.

Ricky Starks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs: Team TAZ explodes in this match as former best friends Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs square off since Hobbs turned his back on Starks after losing the FTW title. Both guys are mega stars in the making and do not want either of them to lose but I am going to go with Hobbs wins here so it starts his rise to stardom while Starks stardom continues despite the lost.

Christian Cage vs. Jungle Boy Jack Perry: This grudge feud finally ends tonight as Christian Cage finally faces Jungle Boy after a long-drawn-out feud. Although this has been Christian’s best work since arriving in AEW this is watermark moment for Jungle Boy, and he will come out victorious to reestablish him as a pillar of AEW potentially.

Wardlow & FTR(Pinnacle) vs. Jay Lethal & Motor City Machine Guns: The best tag team in the world and possibly the hottest talent in AEW are given a constilation match here as Wardlow & FTR face Jay Lethal & Motor City Guns, this is probably the lay up match of the weekend as Wardlow & FTR come out victorious and can hopefully get back on track to being major players and who knows their night may not be done here.

TBS Championship Jade Cargill vs. Athena: This is another lay up match of sorts but expect a good fight from Athena who will push Jade the farthest she been pushed before but Cargill and her momentum will continue as she retains her TBS title remaining the dominant force of the women’s division.

Casino Royale Ladder Match; As the old saying goes “For those who like this kind of thing, it’s the kind of thing those people like” for this ladder match will be pretty much a high flyer “spot fest” with Claudio Castagnoli vs. Wheeler Yuta vs. Rey Fenix vs. RUSH vs. Dante Martin vs. Andrade vs. Penta vs. The Joker entrant. Do not expect a shocking surprise for the Joker spot it will be somebody returning (Adam Cole BAY BAY or Samoa Joe) and if that is the case, I will go with that but hopefully Andrade wins this and can finally be in the main event picture.

AEW Trios Championship: The new AEW Trios championship will be crown tonight as Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks (The Elite) vs. Adam “Hangman” Page and the Dark Order. This match and title were made for these guys to have their match on this show (That’s whole other conversation), but it is obvious that The Elite will win and be the first AEW Trios champions.

AEW Tag Team Championship: This was not the match we expected for the tag titles, but it is a solid back up as newly crowned Swerve in our Glory (Came up with that name first before they did FYI) defend their tag titles against fan favorites The Acclaimed. This should be a solid match, but I am going with an upset here and say the Acclaimed finally win and become the new AEW Tag Team champions and it begins the split between Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland.

Interim AEW Women’s Championship: What was supposed to be a one-on-one match between Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm but with an injury that takes out Thunder Rosa (Under very questionable circumstances that are becoming louder) but leads us to ANOTHER interim title as Toni Storm vs. Britt Baker vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Hikaru Shida. This should be and will be a crowning moment for Toni Storm as she will win and become the AEW Interim Women’s champion which should lead to a match with Thunder Rosa down the road potentially.

Chris Jericho vs. Bryan Danielson: The American Dragon faces The Lionheart as Danielson and Jericho face off. Not much to dive into here with Jericho injuring Danielson in the Anarchy in the Arena match led to this and expect JAS member Daniel Garcia to be involved in the match. Garcia will interfere with Jericho preventing him from cheating and leads to a Danielson victory along with Garcia leaving the JAS and finally join the Blackpool Combat Club.

AEW Championship: The main event is interesting to say the least, CM Punk vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW title happened 2 weeks ago where Moxley beat Punk in 3 minutes but after last week’s random twist of a Rocky like story for Punk challenging for the title instead leaving it alone and had both guys with titles to unify the title. Punk has a lot of controversy circling him recently while Moxley has been great as champion. With all the drama summed up I have Punk winning the AEW title in a heel fashion and begins a Heel Punk run but the show will not be over there as the long-waited return of MJF happens as the beloved face and we continue the MJF/Punk feud with a new twist.

Overall, this weekend has become one of the more exciting weekends of the year for pro wrestling and this weekend should not disappoint us and hopefully provides us with fitting examples or reminders of professional wrestling.
