Wrestlemania 39 Weekend Predictions

For me and many others this weekend is the most wonderful time of the year because it is Wrestlemania Weekend! This afternoon officially kicks off the festivities of the biggest weekend for pro wrestling with NXT’s Stand and Deliver, so here are my predictions for the entire weekend and let us enjoy this exciting list of matches.

NXT Stand & Deliver

• NXT Tag Team Championship: Gallus def. The Creed Brothers, Tony D’Angelo & Stacks to keep the tag titles.

• Schism def. Chase U & Tyler Bate to gain control of Chase U.

• Grayson Waller def. Johnny Gargano in an unsanctioned match.

• NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship: Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn def. Kiana James & Fallon Henley to become the new NXT Women’s tag team champions.

• NXT North American Championship 5-Way Match: Dragon Lee wins the North American title in his debut defeating Wes Lee, JD McDonaugh, Ilja Dragunov and Axiom (Match of the afternoon)

• NXT Women’s Championship Ladder Match: Tiffany Stratton wins the ladder match defeating Roxanne Perez, Zoey Stark, Gig Dolin, Lyra Valkyria, and Indi Hartwell (Cora Jade returns to cost Roxanne Perez her title, and Jacy Jayne will attack Gigi Dolin as well during the match)

• NXT Championship: Carmelo Hayes def. Bron Breakker to become the new NXT champion (Bron Breakker moves on to RAW on Monday ready or not)

Night 1 Wrestlemania 39

• United States Championship: Austin Theory def. John Cena to keep the US title and a star making match for Theory.

• Seth Rollins def. Logan Paul *Match of Night/Match of the Weekend candidate*

• Damage CTRL def. Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus in the six women tag match (Trish turns on Becky Lynch costing them the match)

• The Viking Raiders win the Wrestlemania Men’s 4-way tag showcase match (Street Profits break up starts tonight)

• Dominik Mysterio def. Rey Mysterio (UPSET ALERT)

• Undisputed Tag Team Championship: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn def. The Usos, new champions and major moment of the weekend *Match of the Weekend candidate*

• Smackdown Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley def. Charlotte Flair setting up a banner weekend for Judgement Day. *Match of the Night candidate*

Night 2 Wrestlemania 39

• Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler win the Wrestlemania Women’s 4-way showcase match.
• Omos def. Brock Lesnar

• Hell in a Cell: Finn Balor (The Demon) def. Edge capping off the weekend for Judgement Day, epic entrances and a refreshing visual *Match of the Night candidate *

• Intercontinental Championship: Gunther keeps his title defeating Sheamus and Drew McIntyre *Match of the Night candidate*

• RAW Women’s Championship: Asuka def. Bianca Belair, setting up a notable set of matches going forward.

• WWE Undisputed Universal Championship: Cody Rhodes def. Roman Reigns, ending one of the greatest title reigns in history. But also, could start the break or downfall of the Bloodline and Cody finally fulfilling his journey and dream.
