Fantasy Wrestling Trades

With the NBA trade deadline coming up tomorrow afternoon and Kyrie Irving being traded on Sunday, I figured I would do a little something different (hopefully no one beat me to this) and do a couple of fantasy wrestling trades in honor of those events. So here are a few trade ideas I came up with that are a little fun for the overall world of pro wrestling.

Trade Proposal #1

WWE receives the rights to “Switchblade” Jay White & Tama Tonga from NJPW, in return NJPW receives The OC (Styles, Anderson, and Gallows) and Shinsuke Nakamura. This would revive the Bullet Club bringing back some of the more successful members of the group along with giving Nakamura a hero’s welcome by to Japan as much as I don’t want Nakamura to leave the states it would be the best move probably.

On the flip side the WWE would get some fresh main event talent with White and Tonga coming in with their following and create some dream matches as well with Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Roman Reigns.

Trade Proposal #2

This next one is one I would truly wish would/could happen; WWE would receive Jacob Fatu from MLW in exchange for Ricochet & Baron Corbin. This move would finally put Jacob Fatu on a major national stage to show his abilities and give a possible fresh opponent and angle to Roman Reigns and Bloodline with Fatu being the “Black Sheep” of the family claiming his place as head of the table potentially.

For MLW this would be a hit but they would have some solid name recognition in Ricochet and Baron Corbin with Corbin being the ideal anti-MLW guy and Ricochet instantly being a must see TV talent for the company and fixture in the title picture.

Trade Proposal #3

This is a straight up trade that would shake the wrestling world up, AEW would get Will Ospreay in exchange for… CM PUNK! Ospreay can have an immediate impact on the AEW roster and also resolve the Punk/Elite situation. Punk in NJPW would the piece of his legacy by working in Japan, possibly the new leader of Bullet Club just think of the shirts that would be made. Also, Punk in Japan would be more for Punk’s focus on the wrestling part of it all and not any drama or nonsense.

Trade Proposal #4

My last proposal is 4 team special that would be simply chaotic. WWE would get Josh Alexander from Impact, Adam Page would go to Impact, AEW would get Zack Sabre Jr and NJPW would get Montez Ford. This would shake up the landscape a little bit with Alexander in WWE hopefully in a Kurt Angle main event spot, Adam Page would be the immediate face of Impact wrestling, ZSJ in AEW would give the dream match we have wanting with him vs. Bryan Danielson, and Montez Ford in New Japan would sadly break up the Street Profits in WWE but would us the opportunity to see Ford in a singles role in a new place to show the potential we all know is there with him.
